I have been wanting to create some bookmarks on a coloring page for a while and I really had fun with these. They worked well with the Diva Challenge and I had a lot of fun with my new set of 72 Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The only way to get this coloring page is to order one of my other pages from Etsy. I will send you this page as a thank you gift.
The orange and blue bookmark is a diptych – the 2 halves mirror each other. This was an interesting challenge and fun to do. Check out other tangled diptychs at the Diva’s Blog.

It took me a moment to see that these were actually Diptyches. (Not a word?) These are amazing and would be such nice gifts!

Thanks! The only one that was planned as a diptych was the orange one, but I realized after posting that really they all have a lot of symmetry across the midline. Happy accident!

What a novel shape for a diptych! I love to see thinking outside the box.

I love your color combinations on these bookmarks…you have quite a knack for color (something I wish I had). I love all of them and need to get started on some bookmarks since hubby has been wanting me to make him one for awhile now. But he’s hard on the bookmarks…I have made him a few but he always loses them. Your Diptych bookmark is stunning with the shapes and the colors you have used. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Leslie. I have been trying to get myself to do these for ages. They go so quickly once you get started! I make photocopies so I can play with different color combinations. Then you could have a whole bunch for your husband, too!
